Queen's Garden, Tranekær, Danmark

Hi lovelizzz!

Here is new adventure of mine :)

It's TICON (Art and Nature Center) Really lovely place and worth to visit. It's in Tranekaer Castle's garden which takes 60 acres of castle park. You can see the old and distinctive trees, lawns, meadow, and lake reside in the midst of fertile plough land. In former times the counts of Tranekaer created interaction between the man-made and the organic by planting and shaping the landscape.

This was made by Alfio Bonanno (2001)

The catch is here that you walk around with a map trying to find those gems. It is really interesting.

This is from Stuart Frost (Embla, 2008)

By walking around you see so many interesting things; there is more then just art installations. Nature is divine!

This is Diamond Mine (2011) by Dan Snow

My advice for you would be to come in spring or summer because there are more sunny days so you can be outside whole day and nature is more luxuriant.

Surrounding is beautiful. We had lunch on wooden bench near the lake. Also there is a restaurant for those who like something more cozy.

There are just photos of three installations, but there are 19. I couldn't post all of them so I've chosen few just to show you what to expect if you decide to visit this amazing place. We spend 5hrs wondering around and yet we didn't see all. I'll probably visit it again.
It's so fun to follow the map and find all those gems. It's almost childish feeling :))

I am really impressed!

So when you decide to visit this amazing Garden you should also visit Botanic Garden/ Medicine Garden. There are plants from all over the world. I was surprised to see for example Ginseng plant or chocolate flower. It really smells and tastes like chocolate lol. Garden is beautifully shaped and plants are selected for which organic system they're useful.

That's all folks :))  Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Ammi xoxo
