Queen's Garden, Tranekær, Danmark

Hi lovelizzz!

Here is new adventure of mine :)

It's TICON (Art and Nature Center) Really lovely place and worth to visit. It's in Tranekaer Castle's garden which takes 60 acres of castle park. You can see the old and distinctive trees, lawns, meadow, and lake reside in the midst of fertile plough land. In former times the counts of Tranekaer created interaction between the man-made and the organic by planting and shaping the landscape.

This was made by Alfio Bonanno (2001)

The catch is here that you walk around with a map trying to find those gems. It is really interesting.

This is from Stuart Frost (Embla, 2008)

By walking around you see so many interesting things; there is more then just art installations. Nature is divine!

This is Diamond Mine (2011) by Dan Snow

My advice for you would be to come in spring or summer because there are more sunny days so you can be outside whole day and nature is more luxuriant.

Surrounding is beautiful. We had lunch on wooden bench near the lake. Also there is a restaurant for those who like something more cozy.

There are just photos of three installations, but there are 19. I couldn't post all of them so I've chosen few just to show you what to expect if you decide to visit this amazing place. We spend 5hrs wondering around and yet we didn't see all. I'll probably visit it again.
It's so fun to follow the map and find all those gems. It's almost childish feeling :))

I am really impressed!

So when you decide to visit this amazing Garden you should also visit Botanic Garden/ Medicine Garden. There are plants from all over the world. I was surprised to see for example Ginseng plant or chocolate flower. It really smells and tastes like chocolate lol. Garden is beautifully shaped and plants are selected for which organic system they're useful.

That's all folks :))  Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

100 day challenge !!!

Hi guys hope you're having a great day :)

I started a 100 day challenge it's going good so far. In a week I've lost 1 kg but I suppose that's the extra water and little bit of fat lol. I love it!
Today is day 6 and it's leg day :)
I'm feeling like this pic lol I worked out for 50min. More I see the results; more I want to work out.

Of course I'm taking care of what I'm eating, It's 100 day low carb challenge but I'm taking more fruit so making it healthy as much as I can. I love my body so I want to give it a good care :)

About training; I work out 2 days and have one day off  and so on... I use that day off to relax my muscles, It's recovery time.

Have fun and make schedule for yourself; so it won't be boring to workout. You can try new things and it keeps you motivated. Of course we all have those lazy days but we move on.

You can have upper/lower body workout, or just go for a run, or work out at home, gym where ever you want, or just go for a fast walking....Just make it fun. For me huge motivation is a good song list to keep my adrenalin up. It works for me..Try it!

Also I wanted to update you about slow running thing that I've tried. It's good...REALLY!!! You can run more and just keeping up with fast walking and little running it really burns. I've put that on my list :)

Book Recommendation !

Hi lovelizzz ;)

This book was recommended to me by the bookstore owner.  I was sceptical at first but after a two chapters it got my attention.

From Barcelona, with Love

Here is tip in;

"From the Hollywood Hills to the streets of Barcelona, from lush vineyards and wineries to the most exclusive homes in Europe, let Elizabeth Adler take you on a journey with a story that will hold you spellbound.

Bibi Fortunata was the hottest ticket in town: singer, actress, and celebrity. Two years ago she was arrested on suspicion of murdering her lover and his new mistress, who was also Bibi’s best friend.

Bibi was front-page news in a way her publicists had never dreamed of. But the police were never able to prove anything and she was set free, with the cloud of suspicion and murder still hanging over her. Bibi left for Barcelona where she quite simply disappeared.

But when Bibi’s daughter comes to private investigators Mac Reilly and Sunny Alvarez for help, they can’t resist the temptation to solve this mystery once and for all. Who really killed Bibi’s lover? Who would want to frame Bibi? And who is beckoning them from Barcelona?

Filled with Adler’s trademark lush descriptions, twisty plots, and decadent luxury, From Barcelona, with Love will transport you. "

Visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia

This was a great adventure even tho it was raining all the time. Dubrovnik (Italian Ragusa) is a Croatian city on the Adriatic sea. The city is beautiful and the food is fantastic.

"The prosperity of the city of Dubrovnik was historically based on maritime trade. As the capital of the Republic of Ragusa, amaritime republic, the city achieved a high level of development, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. Dubrovnik became notable for its wealth and skilled diplomacy."

"After the fall of the Ostrogothic Kingdom, the town came under the protection of the Byzantine Empire. Dubrovnik in those medieval centuries had a population of Latinized Illyrians. After the Crusades, Dubrovnik came under the sovereignty of Venice (1205–1358), which would give its institutions to the Dalmatian city."

The Venice influence is almost touchable. I like that a lot. It is incredible how much this city reminds on Venice. I could imagine the parties and dresses, ladies in a boats, counts, masks etc.
This city left me breathless. Even tho right now when I'm writing/remembering all things there my heart jumps.
Most of the monuments you can enter free and some of them you have to pay but its not expensive and its worth its 20-50kn (Croatian kuna). If you like to visit the wall which surrounds the city it costs 50kn. View is stunning!

Also there is small marked place with homemade stuff like jams, dry fruit, cheese, wine etc. I personally liked dried figs and oranges.

The first photo is;  The Rector's Palace with a Gothic-Renaissance structure that displays finely carved capitals and an ornate staircase. It now houses a museum.

The second photo; Walls of Dubrovnik and small harbour

The third photo; The St. Saviour Church is another remnant of the Renaissance period, next to the much-visited Franciscan Monastery. The Franciscan monastery's library possesses 30,000 volumes, 216 incunabula, 1,500 valuable handwritten documents. Exhibits include a 15th-century silver-gilt cross and silver thurible, an 18th-century crucifix from Jerusalem, a martyrology (1541) by Bemardin Gucetic and illuminated psalters.

I hope you enjoyed in this written adventure because I really enjoyed in this trip !
