Book Recommendation !

Hi lovelizzz ;) 

This book was recommended to me by the bookstore owner.  I was sceptical at first but after a two chapters it got my attention.

Visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia

This was a great adventure even tho it was raining all the time. Dubrovnik (Italian Ragusa) is a Croatian city on the Adriatic sea. The city is beautiful and the food is fantastic. 

"The prosperity of the city of Dubrovnik was historically based on maritime trade. As the capital of the Republic of Ragusa, amaritime republic, the city achieved a high level of development, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. Dubrovnik became notable for its wealth and skilled diplomacy."

"After the fall of the Ostrogothic Kingdom, the town came under the protection of the Byzantine Empire. Dubrovnik in those medieval centuries had a population of Latinized Illyrians. After the Crusades, Dubrovnik came under the sovereignty of Venice (1205–1358), which would give its institutions to the Dalmatian city."

The Venice influence is almost touchable. I like that a lot. It is incredible how much this city reminds on Venice. I could imagine the parties and dresses, ladies in a boats, counts, masks etc. 

This city left me breathless. Even tho right now when I'm writing/remembering all things there my heart jumps.

Most of the monuments you can enter free and some of them you have to pay but its not expensive and its worth its 20-50kn (Croatian kuna). If you like to visit the wall which surrounds the city it costs 50kn. View is stunning!

Also there is small marked place with homemade stuff like jams, dry fruit,cheese, wine etc. I personally liked dried figs and oranges. 

The first photo is;  The Rector's Palace with a Gothic-Renaissance structure that displays finely carved capitals and an ornate staircase. It now houses a museum.

The second photo; Walls of Dubrovnik and small harbour

The third photo; The St. Saviour Church is another remnant of the Renaissance period, next to the much-visited Franciscan Monastery. The Franciscan monastery's library possesses 30,000 volumes, 216 incunabula, 1,500 valuable handwritten documents. Exhibits include a 15th-century silver-gilt cross and silver thurible, an 18th-century crucifix from Jerusalem, a martyrology (1541) by Bemardin Gucetic and illuminated psalters.

Pretty cold today. Gosh, I miss Summer and beach a lot. OK ok I won't brag about it lol.

I'm preparing to write about my new adventure :) I'll let you know more into next blog post :)

Only I can say even tho weather wasn't on our side it was beautiful and it was worth every cent and every minute spent there :)

Skovsgård Manor

Hello, lovely people! I wanted to share with you this adventure from the other day. I went to visit Skovsgård Manor. Which is built in 1800. Very impressive building. For the most of you which are wondering where this place is; Its Danmark, Langeland to be precise. 

You can enter inside and see where the family lived and where were the service people and how they lived, butler pantry and all that stuff. Also you can wear historic clothes and take pictures for fun. 

Property is open so you can walk all over it except for few private parts. There is an organic cafe where you can eat delicious meals. Menu is changing every day. Whole place is very interesting.

I'm not much into the marks and shiny stuff . I'm more into the beautiful things. This purse is handmade leather beauty which makes me appreciate it more.

Today was a beautiful day to wonder around but this purse was like cherry on the top of the cake lol.

Trying new colors :)

Hi beauties!

Hope you're all doing fine. I got this new Rimmel color. I like how it suits me :) Simply in love with this color. I know i know for most of you it's no big deal but for me it great to try something new. Mostly I use nude, rose pink or invisible. I like this.

I know I'm little lazy for writing to you who read my blog...

Ooops I'm sorry I'll definitely try write more frequently but I'm all in writing when I have something interesting to say.

Anxiety Battle

Hi lovely people ! 

I didn't know what to write but my thoughts brought me to anxiety again. I had a really stressful weekend so I've decided to write about anxiety battle. People feel anxious about lot of things in life but we all differently react on it. In previous anxiety post I wrote that for me the last drop was the antibiotic pill that I had to take and it really was scary. I had never had that kind of reaction on pills and lot of fear. I thought I'm going to die. Even one year and a half after that I still have small fear when I need to take something even if those are painkillers. I have to admit I am much better then that period but still I'm working on few things. I know lot of you are wondering how am I going to live with this and what is going on with me etc. I've been there and I know all those questions. 

First of all it's a slow process. You have to take step by step. Find something that makes you happy. Don't be afraid of life because the fear is only going to hamper you from life! 

Do you want that? NO!

Take time for yourself, do whatever you like and try not to think about all those "what if" questions. All those "what ifs" makes you tens and anxious. For example what if I faint on the street or what if I have panic attack outside etc. But YOU WON'T, and so what if you do...from the childhood you learn important lesson. When you fall down you just get up and move on!!!

This is the same. You start to feel anxious and like you're going to fell a part, you think I don't need this I want normal life without any limitations and you move forward. 

Every step feels like victory and it is. Every day is a victory and you are getting stronger!

Don't be afraid to explore the outside world! There are lot of beautiful things to see and to explore!

OK your heart is pounding hard, so what you're healthy and nothing is going to happen. At beginning for me was calming to measure the pulse. When I see it's normal and that body is trying to trick me into anxiety it makes me calm. I know it's just a feeling and nothing more. So when I ignore it, it passes and I feel better.So you will too. Don't be afraid it can and it will be better!!!
